| Well as it say on the server "Register on Zmod site and you can use the awesome zM tag", People register here and then uses the tag, Like almost everyone in here got 1 post and that is the introducing topic, It would be hella fun if the boards were active, I myself love reading topics and stuff. At the moment theres not a single new post in here. Well post here if you got any suggestions to help the activity raising | |

| Maybe changing forum link from roflforum to something else :p but i dont really read forums i only use it to keep up to date for things that happen to the server basicly | |

| I think the best way to make the forums more "active" is to reward the players with something sex, for example a unlockable weapon/skin for every post amount reached. It might increase the amount required to download from the server when new players are joining, but meh.
And with "unlockable weapons" I mean for example when you reach 200 posts, you get to use ak 47 for 2 weeks. OR when you hit 400 posts you get a 'ZMOD' skin for 2 months. I got shitloads of these "improvement" ideas, but some of them are tricky to acomplish or are too huge for this small community to handle yet / or cost some extra money.
Also to increase the server popularity is to get some new maps, and dump off the least played ones. In my opinion the rules need some refreshing too, casual gamers don't want to be in a fucking army while playing and trying to have fun. Yes, there are fuckers who have a brain tumor or just enjoy fucking up the gameplay for others and deserve a kick in the balls, a perfectly executed manly kick in the fucking groin. Player warning should also be made bit more "easyer to notice", at the moment it's just a warning via the chat, wich most people won't notice untill it's too late.
I'm a post-aholic. If there is something I can post, I'll post and try to improve the conversation wich is going on, aka. trying to stop the thread from dying if it's a facinating thread. | |

| Damn Niuva you got some awesome ideas there! The weapon thing is an brilliant idea, Maybe not Ak 47 but maybe Bullpup or something, Or maybe Awp? We been trying out some maps lately, Spacetunnel is a great map but the rest were kinda shitty. At the moment Spelworm is working on a map and I hope that it will be a great one. We could have a forum were you need like 20+ posts to post in, A fun forum for the members with a high postcount (Not sure what for forum tho), Maybe a "rank" on the forum, "Poster of the month", With that rank you could use either a restricted weap or an new outfit, Like the admin ones. Well yea keep the ideas coming! Edit: You got a point there Shadow but it will make the forums more active | |

To buy a propper server to run customized forum on. Wich should include post rating system ofcourse. But since we aren't such a large community yet, it would be littlebit over the top.. Alot actually. Probably the most efficent way of making ZMoD more popular is ofcourse to rent few more servers, but that ofcouse means Spelworm needs shitloads of money and alot of time to keep them up and running. Worm could also start "selling" special stuff like reserved slots, modified guns, custom skins, ingame abilitys to make money, but zombie mod ain't such a popular game compared to GG or normal CS:source so I doubt that it would be that much of an bonus for the money problem. All this means that the server needs almost to be redone completley for these ideas to be possible. More servers = more people. More people = more popular. More popular = Profit. From there we can start thinking forward with the "bonus" marketing. sorry Wormie, I feel like I'm hijacking your server. | |
